Tank and pump

Postby showjyr on Thu Feb 04, 2010 9:29 pm

I'm looking for a pump capable 600-650gph at 8-9ft or a tank 75g+....I don't care what condition or style the tank is in as long as it holds water.

I think Joel had an undrilled 75 gallon tank?

Yup Joel contacted me but it appears the old style AGA tanks were tempered glass on the bottom from 55g up....as I plan on drilling it that won't work.

Soooooo I'm still looking :(

Jack, just to avoid any confusion- my tank listed for sale on this site is a tempered AGA. The one I mentioned that you could have for free is of an unknown brand. Very old, thick glass, no center brace (if anyone knows what that is).

I thought the old school AGA tanks were braceless with thick glass :? I need to be able to drill it for a drain line....that's the only reason it not being tempered is important.

I would settle for a regular 75g or bigger tank even if the bottom is tempered. Me thinks I have a solution to drilling a drain line in the bottom ;)
